Daniel is the founder and CEO of Essential Good, a new full service branding and marketing agency with a strong cannabis practice. The agency has helped more than 30 national cannabis brands, including Bloom Farms, Eaze, Harborside and Rebel Coast, develop and launch and market new products in the US.
Prior to starting Essential Good, Daniel was the founder and CEO of Evolution Bureau, a 20-year-old agency built on the concept of “what’s next.” A self-proclaimed “stagna-phobe” Daniel disdains standing still, which explained his position at the helm of EVB, a company behind innovative, integrated brand campaigns, seen by billions of consumers, for industry giants like Pernod Ricard, Wrigley’s, Adidas, JCPenney, Facebook, Microsoft and more.
Daniel’s love of pushing the boundaries of advertising led him to the cannabis space in 2014, with the notion that the future of cannabis branding will be determined by the people who understand how to weave brands into culture. Since then he has invested in understanding and embracing the cannabis space, navigating the ever-changing rules and regulations, and providing strategic support, business guidance and creative inspiration to top players and emerging brands in the space.
With Essential Good, Daniel strives to blend his newfound love of cannabis culture with his decades of experience building traditional CPG brands and connecting with consumers in meaningful ways.
