As the former head of U.S. Marketing Communications at AB InBev (Budweiser), Lisa pivoted from beer to bud in 2018, establishing Trailblaze to bring a more sophisticated approach to brand storytelling in an emergent industry. Previously, she was an SVP at the global PR firm FleishmanHillard, where she led communications and digital campaigns for Fortune 500 companies.
With over twenty years of experience, Lisa is a marketing communications veteran who has worked with many of the world’s most recognized CPGs and MSOs: AB InBev/Budweiser, AT&T, Ayr Wellness, and Canopy Growth. Best known as The Cannabis PublicistⓇ, she has earned a reputation for tip-of-the-spear thinking, resulting in some of most headline-making campaigns of the last decade.
Lisa holds a Master’s degree in Communications from Miami University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications Studies and English from the University of Iowa. She and her firm have been recognized with multiple marketing and PR awards including the Clios, the MarCom Awards, the Sabre Awards, the PRSA Silver Anvils, and the Stevie American Business Awards.
